What to Expect: Your Space, Your Pace

Choosing person-centred counselling means choosing a therapy where you are the lead architect of our work together. It is based on the belief that you are the only true expert on your own life and that, given the right environment, you already possess the inner resources needed for growth and healing.

A Different Kind of Conversation

If you are used to professional environments where you are given a "to-do" list or a diagnosis, this may feel different. In our sessions:

  • No Advice or "Fixing": I won’t tell you what to do, offer "homework," or claim to have the answers to your life’s challenges. To do so would be to overlook your own unique wisdom and autonomy.

  • Total Acceptance: You can bring any thought, feeling, or experience into the room without fear of judgment. I provide a "non-judgmental" space where you are accepted exactly as you are in this moment.

  • Empathic Understanding: My role is to step into your world and see it through your eyes. I listen deeply to help you hear your own voice more clearly.

  • Genuine Connection: I show up as a real human being, not a blank clinical wall. Our relationship is the foundation of the work.

How a Session Unfolds

There is no set agenda. Each session starts with whatever is on your mind today. You might explore a specific "life-quake," sit with a difficult emotion, or simply use the time to process your week.

By providing a safe, consistent, and empathetic environment, the goal is to help you reconnect with your own values and instincts. This process allows you to find your own way forward at a pace that feels right for you—not one dictated by a therapist.
